Nick Vassallo, or Niko, is a guitarist, vocalist and composer. Their love affair with music began as a 10 year old picking out Hendrix solos by ear and has transformed into an adventurous, open-minded, passionate musician who loves to create in the moment and connect with people from all walks of life. Based in the SF Bay, Niko plays everything from jazz, blues and rock to Bach, hip-hop and traditional folk. They are a deep listener with tremendous sensitivity as a band member, in addition to being a passionate teacher. Their driving forces as a musician are to push the limits of guitar and voice and create music that acts as vehicle for connection and spiritual expression.
